Jack Kelleher
Tenor
A New Jersey native, Jack first discovered a cappella at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he sang with the university’s original all-male group, Eight Beat Measure. Jack’s tenure in Eight Beat, which included one year as President, saw Eight Beat release two CARA-nominated albums, earn three placement’s on the annual Best Of Collegiate A Cappella compilation, and place second at ICCA Mid-Atlantic Semifinals in 2013. Perhaps most importantly, Eight Beat was declared the official a cappella group of the snack food brand Tastykake after winning a talent show sponsored by the dessert giants (for which they received a cash prize and a year’s supply of Tastykake products). Yum.
Upon graduating in 2015, Jack moved to Northern Virginia to start a career in Cybersecurity, and spent just over two years working as a Security Engineer in the Transportation, Oil & Gas, and Energy sectors. He currently plies his trade as a Cloud Engineer for Boston-based Rapid7, helping some of the world's largest companies secure their assets and information.
Outside of singing, Jack enjoys playing board games with friends, watching soccer, and throwing the occasional dinner party. He considers himself a rapid Italophile, and never shies away from a chance to hop on a plane and experience something new!
