Loren Blinde

Director/Soprano

Loren was born in Indiana and grew up in Maryland. She has been around a cappella music since she can remember, coming from a long line of barbershoppers and choral singers. If you didn't hear music in her house growing up, that meant no one was home.

She has sung a cappella with the College of William and Mary's Christopher Wren Singers as well as the co-ed, semi-pro group Quarter Life Crisis in Los Angeles. Loren credits a cappella with leading her to love, as well: she met her husband, Michael, at her audition for the Wren Singers.

When she is not working on a Vox Pop arrangement with Michael or rehearsing in the car, Loren can be found running her freelance commercial writing business, teaching undergraduate classes at University of Maryland, University College, and teaching her and Michael's little daughter, Julia, how to sing.
