Kirsten Brandler

Soprano

Kirsten couldn't be happier to be a member of Vox Pop since 2010. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where she was a member of the university's all-female a cappella group: the Treblemakers. She also served as the group's music director for several semesters and developed a reputation for being the most likely to pull an all-nighter to arrange a song just for fun and to have a pitch pipe in her possession at all times.

Kirsten teaches high school math at St. Mary's High School in Annapolis. And since singing a cappella herself just wasn't enough, she also founded an all-female group called Nothing But Treble at St. Mary's, and was proud to have one of their first-ever recorded tracks featured on the BOHSA 2016 compilation!

Aside from singing and teaching, Kirsten is a fan of smart TV shows, good coffee, and dogs. She has a borderline unhealthy obsession with Golden Retrievers, and her husband knows he usually comes in second to their adorable dogs.
