Business Manager/Soprano

Cindy was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. Theatre and music were a huge part of her life growing up: she sang in children’s choirs, took dance and flute lessons. In high school: she auditioned for her first musical and was cast in the leading role. She also sang in chorale/madrigals and played the flute in the school’s orchestra & jazz band.

Since high school, she has performed or worked on the production staff in over twenty plays and musicals all over the Baltimore and DC metropolitan areas. During one of these musicals: she met and fell in love with fellow group member: Kevin Zarcone. He auditioned for Vox Pop prior to their wedding and so Cindy remained a devoted “groupie.” They were married in 2005 and continued to perform in musicals together. Eventually, she joined her husband and became part of the Vox Pop family. This is Cindy’s first experience in an a cappella vocal band and she is delighted to be challenged in a way she has never been before!

She currently resides in the Frederick area, staying home with her two beautiful children, which allows her to play the role of “Mommy” each and every day. She also enjoys baking, taking photos, scrapbooking and spending time with her daughter. Let’s just say that Cindy and “sitting still” never happens.
